MERRILL-February 22, 2012-Riverside Athletic Club announces the fourth annual Run United 10K. 5K and 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, May 19 with the start/finish line at its location at 500 S. Center Avenue in Merrill.
“Run United benefits the Merrill Area United Way and the 21 programs they fund throughout the Merrill area,” says Paul Kienitz, Riverside Athletic Club owner. “Our race is one way to help more people become involved in fitness and to support the good work Merrill Area United Way does for our community. We are proud to have people coming from all over the state to participate in the race.”
“Participants can print the registration form online by visiting our website www.riversideathletic.com.” says Becci Shuman, Riverside Athletic Club Member Services. “We are excited to be partnering with Parisi Speed School, the Merrill Fire Department and of course, the Merrill United Way. We are looking forward to a great event and raising money for the Merrill Area”
The registration fee is $25 for individuals and $45 for families. On Race Day the fee goes up to $30 for individuals and $50 for families. Registration includes a Live United T-Shirt. Only two T-shirts are included in a family registration, though extra T-shirts may be purchased for $10 each.
